Four fabrics, chosen for night
Cotton poplin
120 gsm, washed twice before cutting so it arrives soft and does not shrink. Crisp enough to hold a
piped collar, cool enough for a warm room.
Mulberry silk
19 momme for slips, 16 momme for the washable cami set. Cut on the true bias so it moves with the
body instead of hanging off it. French seams throughout.
Brushed flannel
170 gsm cotton, brushed on one face. Warm without weight, and it softens further with each wash
rather than pilling.
Modal jersey
210 gsm, 92% modal. Falls rather than clings, which is why the lounge trousers are cut wide and the
waist is encased elastic rather than a drawstring-only channel.
Care, briefly
30C, delicate, in a bag for silk. Dry flat away from direct sun. Warm iron on cotton only. No bleach,
no tumble dryer for silk or modal.
